Pink

I have never considered myself a girly girl, in fact I don't think I own any pink clothes. However for the past month or so I have absolutely loved pink beauty products! Eye shadow, lippy, blush, all pink nothing but pink! Especially in summer, pink just seems to be my go-to makeup colour. That's why for this week's blog post I thought it was only fair that I share the products I've been loving with you, right?

First up is the beautiful Super Natural Eye Shadow Palette by BarryM. This is a collection of neutral matte to shimmery metallic eye shadows in eight neutral shades from pale nudes to rose golds. All eight shades are highly pigmented and have a velvety formula that blend very easily. The palette also includes two double-ended brush applicators which I find very handy.

I have also loved BarryM's dazzle dust in the shades Aphrodite (left) and Athena (right). These are highly pearlised powders that can be used to enhance yours eyes, cheeks, or lips. So far I have only used these powders on my eyes and I absolutely love them! The powder itself is quite loose so smoothly glides on adding that perfect sparkle and sheen.

While this product is a little less pink I just had to include it! The Mua Luxe Strobe & Glow Highlight kit in the shade Pearl Gold has to be my new favourite highlighter. The kit comes with both a cream and a powder formula and so far I have only used the powder. This is ideal for effortless highlighting; it's easily applicable with a very subtle sheen that is easy to build up.

Next up is my all time favourite blush by NARS in the shade Orgasm. This is a peachy pink matte with a golden shimmer that catches the light perfectly. The silky textured powder ensures a soft, light and blendable application that immediately enlivens the complexion giving a natural looking flush. I would also describe this product as a very versatile blush so many skin types could use it.

When it comes to lipsticks I had to include a few of my mac go-to favourites in the shades Créme d'Nude (left) and Brave (right). Créme d'Nude is the perfect pinky nude shade that doesn't give that 'foundation lip' effect I always worry some nudes can give, where as Brave is the more pigmented satin, reddish shade. Both lipsticks have a matte finish, are bullet shaped, and have that mac vanilla scent that (as you already know) I love!

A few months back, a friend introduced to the brand younique and I have completely fallen for their Opulence Lipstick range! The lipsticks contain a natural moisturiser that leaves lips feeling smooth and not at all sticky or dry as some other lipsticks can do. The texture is also quite creamy so you really don't need a lot of it, plus it lasts all day! The lipstick I wanted to include in todays post is in the shade Affluent, a creamy pink mauve.

I very rarely paint my nails because (is it just me? I feel like it's just me) I always bloody chip them! However, a few weeks or so back I was restocking my favourite foundation and I stumbled across Rita Ora's Rimmel London nail collection and I couldn't help myself. The bottle I picked up is in the shade Peachella - how cute!

And that's it! I just think that pink is such a happy, summery colour that will never go out of fashion. You can never go wrong with a hint of pink! I hope you enjoyed today blog post and I'll see you again soon!
