University Room Tour

Hello everyone! This week's blog post may be a little boring for some of you; however, I personally love reading room tour posts! As sad as it may seem, one of the things I was most looking forward to when moving to university was finding out what room I would be living in for the next year and how I might decorate it. For the majority of this summer I have been watching various YouTube videos and reading blog posts to try and gain creative inspirations and I am so happy with how my room looks.

(Believe it or not, I had to tidy my room before snapping these few photos and I've only lived here 3 days...)

When I first arrived I was surprised with how much storage we actually have in our rooms, especially the desk. I decorated it with various concert/musical tickets, mementos and photos that I ordered from FreePrints. I filled each compartment with little things such as my favourite books, perfumes, hair and makeup stuff as well as a few little trinkets from home. I especially love my grape soda pin which only my fellow Disney fanatics will understand.

I bought a little bonsai tree from home and placed it on my window sill which I think looks rather cute, even more so when I wrapped little copper fairy lights around it.

Last but not least this is my bedding area. If you can't tell already, I decided to stick with a more neutral grey theme, as I wasn't sure what colour my room walls would be. I filled up the top compartments with a few beauty bottles, a jewellery stand and a couple of Good Luck cards from my family. I also bought this medallion-patterned tapestry from Urban Outfitters and hung up (yes more) fairy lights to give it that little more homely feeling.

And that's it, my room for the remainder of the school year! I hope you enjoyed todays post and I'll see you again soon!
