Lush Skincare Review

Although I am completely head over heels in love with this time of year, I have to admit that my skin is not. With the combination of stress and colder weather, my skin tends to suffer making it all the more important to take care of it (not to mention I have the perfect combination of Lush products to do so...)

I’ll put my hand up; when somebody mentions Lush I immediately think bath bombs and it wasn’t until this time last year I realised just how many amazing products they had that have really helped in the development of my skincare. Almost a year later, I have selected a few of my all time favourite Lush skincare products to talk about in this week’s blog post.

First up is my most trustworthy Facial Cleanser, Ultrabland. Made with almond oil, rose water, beeswax and honey, this facial cleanser removes all of my makeup (including waterproof) and any additional dirt from the day that seems to linger with most other cleansers. I simply buffer the cleanser into my skin before wiping it away with cotton wool and then warm water. Overall the product is just as effective as it is extremely easy to use.

The Eau Roma Toner Water is by far the most successful form of autumn skincare I have come across as it effectively reduces redness and hydrates my skin. Made with a combination of rose and lavender water, Eau Roma leaves my skin feeling soft, moisturised and most importantly healthy.

Last on my list is the Ocean Salt, Face and Body Scrub. After a twelve-hour day of wearing makeup, I tend to find a scrub is the best way to revitalise my skin. This scrub contains sea salt, rich in minerals, as well as avocado butter, seaweed absolute and coconut oil to take away that unpleasant oily feeling and instead leave your skin feeling soft and conditioned.

The combination of these three products always leaves my skin feeling refreshed and my spirits uplifted, my definite go to products as the weather grows colder and the festivity begins to reappear.
