My Blogs First Birthday!

I can’t quite believe that as of this week, my blog has been live for one – whole – year..! How crazy is that?! Exactly one year ago today I was typing up my very first blog post, both a little anxious and excited to click publish the very next day. That night, I waited and watched with wonder as my view counts slowly ticked up (I’m talking about 10 views) with a small idea of how my first year of blogging might pan out. Being truthfully honest, it did not pan out how I expected, but instead (cringe) so much better than I ever thought.

I am so overwhelmed with the amount of views and positive feedback I get on my blog. When I sit down and look at my weekly stats, I’m constantly surprised to find that someone from a new country literally across the world has found him or herself clicking on to my little blog. It honestly baffles me in a weird, crazy wonderful way I can barely describe.

I get the goofiest smile whenever I read through your comments/emails and it wholeheartedly makes my day when my phone 'bings' with a DM from one of you guys. I have made so many more friends than I ever thought I would through blogging and I’m so happy to be apart of this community (especially meeting so many fellow Disney enthusiasts!)

Whether you’ve been reading this blog since October 6^th or you’re reading this post ten years from now, I really want to take a moment to thank you. I don’t earn money from doing this, in fact I doubt I ever will, but right now blogging makes me happy. Ergo, you make me happy. That’s what I’m thankful for.

I’m sure you’re all sick of my soppy blog post by now, I didn’t plan for it to be like this it just sort of happened haha! Either way I’m now going to sit down and eat my cupcake; I’ve been waiting all day to eat this cupcake…

Anyway… Here’s to us and another crazy, weird, wonderful year!
